PRP Hair Therapy

PRP hair therapy is suitable for both men and women and can help to prevent hair loss and stimulate new hair growth. This is a non-surgical procedure that can result in a fuller, healthier head of hair.

PRP or platelet-rich plasma uses your own blood platelets to stimulate hair growth. We collect a small sample of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge which separates it into layers of platelets, plasma, red blood cells and white blood cells. The PRP is then extracted and injected into your scalp which will promote hair growth where healthy follicles are present.

How long does it take?

The treatment takes around 1 – 1.5 hours

How does it work?

Your own blood will be drawn, processed and injected back into the scalp to promote new hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Does it hurt?

You may feel a slight pinch during the injections and there may be some tenderness at the injection sites for a day or two following the procedure.
