During your treatment, a derma roller containing tiny needles is rolled over the skin creating minute punctures which forces your skin into recovery and regeneration mode. As your skin works to repair itself, it will produce collagen and elastin which will result in firmer, plumper looking skin.

Microneedling is a is a dermaroller procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. It is a rejuvenating skin treatment that helps generate new collagen & skin tissue resulting in smoother, firmer, more toned skin.

Do microneedling hurt?

Microneedling can be uncomfortable and how intensely the treatment is felt does dependent on the length of the needles on the derma roller. We can apply a numbing cream to the face prior to the procedure to help minimise any pain or discomfort.
